Yarrow is one of the main sacred plants of the summer solstice. It is sacred to August and is a popular medicinal plant. The scientific name of the genus is Achillea and refers to Achilles, the hero of the Trojan War.
The Achillea offers dynamism, courage and strengthens the love desire. Its emanations charge whoever wears its leaves with an "electric" vibration and thus drive out the surrounding evil influences.
