Yellow bedstraw Galium Verum (milk quail)

Synonyms: true bedstraw, galliet, gallait, quail-milk, yellow quail-milk, quail-milk officinal, good blood, small lily of the valley, grass of the saint Jean, grass with the Virgin.

Plant with robust quadrangular stem, 15 cm to 1 m long. Leaves verticillées by 6 to 9. Yellow flowers with 4 petals in cross in inflorescences starting from the armpit of the leaves and exceeding them at length. It has tracing underground stems.
