Prickly tarragon roots

Fragon false holly or Little holly. In French, it is also called Fragon piquant, Épine de rat, Buis piquant, Fragonnette, Gringon, Vergandier or Houx-frelon. In English, it is called Butcher's Broom, Jew's Myrtle, Knee Holly or Pettigree.

It is an evergreen rhizomatous sub-shrub of less than 1m height. It is an upright, bushy shrub with cylindrical, ridged stems, a fleshy tracer rhizome and whitish fasciculated roots.
