Boldo

The boldo is a species of tree in the Monimiaceae family, native to Chile. Its leaves, which have a strong woody aroma, are used for culinary purposes, mainly in Latin America. Used in South American countries, boldo is recognized for its benefits in facilitating intestinal transit and liver function (gallbladder in particular). It is used in the cases of dyspepsia, hepatic disorders and urinary affections.

Small shrub native to Chile that can be found in Haiti. Sprinkled in the surroundings of the house, it keeps away the bad spirits. Also helps prosperity, clairvoyance and visions.
